●買いだめした品物 hoarded goods

・その年は米を買いだめする人が多かった. That year there were a lot of rice-hoarders [people who hoarded rice].

●生鮮食品は買いだめが利かない. Hoarding [Stocking up on] perishable foods doesn't work.

●灯油が値上がりすると聞いて人々は買いだめに走った. Hearing that the price of kerosene [heating oil] was going to go up, people ran to stock up on it.
